Interested in music lessons?
Are you motivated to play with your church worship band but maybe aren't ready yet? Perhaps you've had a negative experience with previous lessons and you're looking for something more flexible....something where you get to be involved in choosing the music you play? Do you have a young student who wants to learn an instrument in a fun, encouraging atmosphere? Do you want to work with someone who loves to teach and will patiently work with students to cultivate an enjoyment and love for music? If your answer is yes, I can help! I want to give you the tools and knowledge you need to play your instrument effectively and have fun doing it. Whether your goal is to serve your local church band, or simply learn to play the instrument and enjoy it, I would love to work with you! I offer private lessons in keyboard and guitar. Greetings Everyone,
I hope you've been enjoying your summer thus far! With August already here and the Fall semester fast approaching, I want to let you all know that I am excited to be available to teach music lessons again in piano and guitar!
I have been taking some online courses and attending various workshops this summer in the effort of furthering my professional development both as a teacher and a producer. I look forward to working with you and your students this coming year!
I'm thankful for the joy we can find in reflecting God's glory through the sounds and the art He enables us to create! Exploring music, learning an instrument, and writing songs is truly one of life's greatest joys. It is always a privilege for me to watch the progress of your students each year! Seeing them grow in their love of music and development of their skills is so rewarding. My hope and prayer is that they ultimately see music for what it truly is, a gift from God and will therefore use it to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever.
Looking ahead, I will be offering Fall music lessons this year from Tuesdays through Fridays starting mid- September.
As some of you know, I keep everything organized and administered through a web-based program called “MyMusicStaff" that offers much to parents and students to assist them in their music studies at home. It provides efficient communication between teacher, parents and students. It keeps relevant info such as lesson notes, reference materials and practice tracks immediately accessible to students, adding value and incentive to their learning experience as they study with me!
Each year, I offer regular weekly music lessons at several locations around the Rochester area. Lessons are available for piano or guitar. During the Fall and Spring semesters. I have one primary and one secondary teaching location. The primary location is GraceLife Church located in the Avon Town Plaza at 275 E. Main St. 14414 (Tuesdays-Thursdays) and the secondary location is Calvary Chapel South Side at 300 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls, NY. (Fridays only)
