Interested in music lessons?
Are you motivated to play with your church worship band but maybe aren't ready yet? Perhaps you've had a negative experience with previous lessons and you're looking for something more flexible....something where you get to be involved in choosing the music you play?
Do you have a young student who wants to learn an instrument in a fun, encouraging atmosphere?
Do you want to work with someone who loves to teach and will patiently work with students to cultivate an enjoyment and love for music?
If your answer is yes, I can help!
I will equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to learn your instrument effectively and have fun doing it.
Whether your goal is to serve your local church band, or simply learn to play the instrument and enjoy it, I would love to work with you!
I offer private lessons in keyboard and guitar. I also teach group guitar lessons through HSA LEAH, a local homeschool co-op organization. Find out more about private lessons by clicking on the links below.
"2020 Fall Semester
9.1.2020 - Update
Greetings to you,
Summer is winding down, the Fall semester is here and schools will be back in session this upcoming month! Despite all of the noise and uproar of this year, I'm thankful that we can find stability in trusting that God is in control and at the end of the day, His purpose will never be thwarted.
I'm thankful for the joy we can find in exploring music, in learning an instrument, in writing songs. It's important in times like this to find healthy objectives to spend our time on. In Scripture, Philippians chapter 4 has been a strong encouragement to me in light of what's happening in our culture and society. Read and let it encourage you also!
I am excited to be able to offer IN-PERSON music lessons again for guitar and piano. Lessons will officially begin the week of September 14th.
As most of you know, I keep everything organized and administrated through a web-based program called “MyMusicStaff" that offers much to parents and students to assist them in their music studies at home. It provides efficient communication between teacher, parents and students. It keeps relevant info such as lesson notes, reference materials and practice tracks immediately accessible to students adding value and incentive to their learning experience as they study with me!
It is always a joy for me to watch the progress of your students each year! Seeing them grow in their love of music and development of their skills is so rewarding. My hope and prayer is that they ultimately see music for what it truly is, a gift from God and will thereby use it to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever.
Each year, I offer regular weekly music lessons at several locations around the Rochester area. Lessons are available for piano or guitar. This year I have two teaching locations. I will be available at GraceLife Church located in the Avon Town Plaza (275 E. Main St. 14414) and Calvary Chapel South Side (300 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls NY).
